Centennial Pens & Publishers is a non-profit organization that helps writers meet their goals through educational opportunities. These opportunities come through monthly speakers and meetings, networking between members and partnerships with other writer-focused organizations. Our name, Centennial, comes from Colorado's nickname, the Centennial State. Colorado became a state in the year 1876, 100 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This name reflects our regional focus, and our dedication to helping Colorado writers meet their goals. Our membership is diverse, and includes magazine article writers, children's book writers, novelists, poets, non-fiction writers, and business writers to name a few. We are also fortunate to have those who support writers as members, such as book designers and publishers. O ur meetings are held in Fort Collins, Colorado. We welcome visitors and new members. Next Meeting Tuesday, April 12, 2005 Featuring Cynthia Morris Author of Create Your Writer's Life Presenting "Overcoming Optionitis"
